Internet celebrated the April fool's day by launching new products or by remembering the past


Google the un-disputed leader of the internet search had launched com.googleGoogle launched a flipped-out search page that gets everything backward. 

Microsoft launched a MS-DOS mobile which is a real product in the form of apps. After installing the app you can find yesteryear's MS-DOS command line interface on modern lumina mobile phones. Going into the C:\PROGRAMS\PHONE directory shows programs like MAPS.EXE, MARKET.EXE and INTERNET.EXE; running them from the command line launches the appropriate Windows Phone app.

In NYC home Actor Philip Seymour Hoffman was found dead




The 46 years old the brilliant actor  Philip Seymour Hoffman found dead in his NewYork City home due to drug overdose. Hoffman won Best Actor at the the 78th Academy Awards in 2006 for his portrayal of author Truman Capote in Capote. Hoffman plays a prominent role in The Hunger Games movie franchise as gamemaker Plutarch Heavensbee, but there is no word on how his character will be handled in Liongate's two forthcoming Hunger Games films. "Plutarch" and "PhilipSeymourHoffman" are currently worldwide trending topics on Twitter.

Times Group the trend seekers

India's famous media publishing group the Times group is a copy masters like the Chinese. The Chinese have created the copy of every famous US sites from Google to Video streaming sites Youtube.com. Baidu has became the Chinese version of Google and Youku. Chinese have their own version of Twitter too i.e. Sina Weibo. Like that the famous Times group has created a numerous business that are the copy of famous sites and they utilise their media muscle by launching ads campaign on both online and offline media properties to make it popular. They actually go by trends.

When worldwide music streaming sites are gaining ground Times media came out with Gaana.com. Which soon become hit thanks to the media muscle. The site also boasts with features which are better than the competitors like saavn.com. Gaana.com has international hits beside the Bollywood ones. 

The property sites in India is booming up thanks to the rapid urbanisation. There are lots of online property sites from tiger property, housing.co.in to IndiaProperty. Times Group found the trend and they came up with Magicbricks.com. Today they claim to be the no.1 property sites in India. 

Then comes the shopping part, today online retail is a hot segment and concept too. Times group found the trend and they came out with their own version Indiatimes Shopping

Like this they had applied the same concept and launched Direcpay the payment gateway in the Times network, BoxTV the online movie streaming site.  

Twitter is going to sell goods online


Twitter.com  the famous micro blogging sites is taking commerce as a service deeply. After going public it wants to leave no stone unturned for growth in the near future. Earlier the 140 character blogging site was not much interested in commerce. The famous tech blog ReCode has written that they likely to partner with Stripe as their payment partner. Tech blog Recode also updated that Twitter may tie up with one commerce site fancy.com
